Join Infamous Adventures October 2nd through 5th in the beautiful mountain town of Marlinton, West Virginia for our third installment of iADV Live! We will be exploring parts of our Simat route and throwing in a few other surprises as well.
Adventure motorcycle riding in Southeast West Virginia in October is an unforgettable experience that blends rugged terrain with the rich tapestry of autumn color. As the Appalachian Mountains ignite with fiery hues of red, orange, and gold, the winding roads and backcountry trails become a rider’s paradise.
From the dense forests to the remote hollows of Greenbrier, Pocahontas and Webster counties, every turn offers a new vista. The crisp mountain air and scent of fallen leaves heightens the sense of freedom as you navigate gravel roads, and forest service routes that dip through creek crossings and climbs rocky ridgelines.
October’s weather is cool and often clear, perfect for all-day riding in layers. You’ll pass through small mountain towns where time moves a little slower—perfect for a break at a local diner or chatting with locals at a gas stop. The occasional foggy morning gives way to sun-drenched afternoons, where the landscape seems to glow in golden light.
Whether you’re weaving through tight switchbacks on Route 219 or exploring lesser-known trails, Southeast West Virginia in the fall offers solitude, challenge, and beauty—everything an adventure rider seeks.
This year’s event will be done a little differently than previous tours, with participants being responsible for their lodging. We have partnered with a location for lodging, and more information will be sent out after purchase of a ticket. 30-days prior to event we will need a final head count, ticket is non-refundable 60-days prior to the event. Also, if you will be having a passenger rider please contact us for pricing. This will be a rain or shine event.
